Australian Reptile Park

The Australian Reptile Park provides the perfect family day adventure. Now one of Australia’s must see attractions, the park has a variety of fascinating species, wildlife shows and animal interactions.

Located at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast, the park gives visitors opportunities to see spiders, crocodiles, snakes, pythons, koalas, wombats and other Australian animals.

The hands on zoo was created by Eric Worrell in 1948. It began at Umina Beach before relocating in 1959 to Wyoming. It wasn’t until 1996 the park moved to Somersby.

The park is home to Tim Faulkner, the Australian Reptile Park General Manager and wildlife expert. In recent years the park has also been a frequent feature on Bondi Vet and The Wild Life of Tim Faulkner.

The park is always striving to make a difference in animal conservation research and inspiring the community to learn the importance of biodiversity, rewilding and the environment. Visitors can check out the conservation project Devil Ark and the Venom– Milking Program.
