Twitching

Let the hunt begin!

Twitching is referred to as a birder who is hunting for rare bird species to tick off their lists.

These bird enthusiasts will travel long distances, sometimes in the shortest amount of time to find birds they do want to see.

Competitions among other enthusiasts are held with the competitive spirit of seeing who can find the most birds in 24 hours. Addictive, most people keep on hunting for a bigger list.

Tim has found many rare birds on his outback adventures.  To be an excellent bird twitcher you need to know your birds extremely well. You can see some of the birds Tim has discovered on The Wild life of Tim Faulkner on Nat Geo TV.
